Flights To Morocco?

Mon Sep 07, 2009 1:11 am

This Christmas my father and I want to go to Morocco. I was wondering, what is the cheapest way to get there from LAX?? It doesn’t matter which airport, but Casablanca would be nice. If you could recommend me some sites or something that would be great!!

Royal Air Maroc flies from JFK to CAS and they have great fares.

Consider AF via CDG.

High season = high fares ...

Agadir in the south is a major touristy installation.
A visit to Marrakech is recommended if you happen to be in the vicinity.

Key places for tourists in Morocco include Marrakesh and Fez. Get a Lonely Planet Morocco guidebook and start to plan.

A few of the European LCCs fly to Morocco, eg Ryanair and Easyjet, so it may be worth looking at flights to London and doing a homemade connection from there.

Yeap, but you will find better connex ex France and Belgium. Stay some days in old Europe and go on to Morocco.

LH should offer a connection from LAX to Casablanca via FRA.

I can recommend you a short visit to Tangier. Exotic city near from Gibraltar Strait with a mysterious Medina and wonderful beaches.

Many flights from various points in Europe, mainly served by low cost carriers and daily flights from CMN.

To stay, take a room at Moevenpick Tangier and Casino Hotel. Not so far from the downtown, surrounded by the sea and with the sole casino of the city.

Gerard

LH flight from LAX land at 10:25AM in FRA and the flight to CMN leaves FRA at 10:25PM...

Indeed, the two best options are LAX-JFK then JFK-CMN with RAM

or

LAX-CDG-CMN with AF.

LAX offers 2 or 3 x Daily LAX-CDG-LAX and 4 x Daily CDG-CMN-CDG or CDG-RBA-CDG

In Morocco, AF serves only CMN and RBA from Paris-CDG, while Transavia France (a 100% AF-KLM subsidiary) serves RAK, AGA and OUD from/to ORY.
Royal Air Maroc serves also several city in Morocco from both CDG and ORY.
