Exit Row Seats On DLs 767s

Mon Sep 14, 2009 4:28 pm

Hi!

I will be flying DUS-ATL-DUS with DL in December, sitting in an exit row. Now my question is, do they have movable or immovable arm rests in those seats? I am scheduled on the one exit row configuration.
I can't seem to recall from my last flight in July.  Sad

DL has multiple configurations - check www.seatguru.com for details.

Give us a ring on 0180-333-7880 tomorrow and I'll find out for you  Smile

And how did you manage to reserve the exit row seat? Normally we just let the airport assign those...

Cheers,

Toni

I flew the one exit 76G configuration and sat in row 20 two years ago on a flight to AMS. All seats in row 20 have in-seat tray tables . A lot of legroom so you can't use the tray table in row 19. A lot of traffic in that area due to location of lav's and mid-cabin galley, particularly on the overnight segment from ATL, but good seats with great legroom otherwise.
Note to Metroliner. DL makes exit rows available to assign in advance to any passenger on international segments, and to preferred Sky Miles members for domestic US flights.
watch what you want. you may get it.

What's interesting is that last year, I booked a DL domestic flight on a 767 and at the time of booking (about six weeks in advance) I was able to get an exit row seat on my return flight. I am a SkyMiles member, but nowhere near any of the Medallion levels (I've been flying four legs a year on DL the last few years, and those are the only flights I take every year.).

One piece of advice is to bundle up if your seat is a window seat. I made the mistake of putting my coat in the overhead bin and it got a bit chilly sitting by the window.

Well since I am SkyTeam Elite Plus, it's not problem to get those seats, although one has to call Delta nowadays. You used to be able to just do it online up till May or so.

I am only concerned about the return flight, since I will be travelling with my girlfriend and it's cosier to lift up the arm rest...

Seeing that there are still a bunch of other window seats together, I might re-assign our seats after my flight to the States.
