Alphabet Of Aircraft Manufacturers

Sun Sep 27, 2009 12:36 am

Borrowing an idea from Airstud's threads on compulsive lists (http://www.airliners.net/aviation-fo...s/aviation_polls/read.main/181406/) I thought I'd see how far through the alphabet people have got with aircraft manufacturers?

I'm thinking this will favour those who fly light aircraft, as there's a whole lot more companies in this field than there are in the commercial aviation field:

Mine:

A - Agusta
B - Boeing
C - Cessna
D - Douglas
E - Embraer
F - Fokker
G -
H -
I - Ilyushin
J -
K -
L - Lockheed
M - McDonald Douglas
N - NAMC
O -
P -
Q -
R -
S - SAAB
T - Tupolev
U -
V -
W -
X -
Y - Yakovlev
Z -

I'm half way there so far Big grin

Yes it is indeed Holger. Maybe I didn't explain it fully, I thought the concept was familiar following the other thread.  Smile

M - McDonald Douglas

I can't believe it that I first mocked about the typo and then didn't correct it in my list after copying Dan's list  banghead .

Forgot "M - Mil" in my list, but this doesn't change the score.
