Emirates Questions, Re: Flights Out Of IAH, SFO, L

Thu Oct 22, 2009 12:08 am

Hello All,

So my vacation plans are now taking me to DXB rather than Tokyo as originally planned.
I am looking at flying EK out of either LAX, SFO or IAH. Which of these is easier to get on as a non-rev passenger. I have heard all three usually enjoy great load factors. I will be flyinh out on 11/05 returning on 11/09. Any help would be greatly appreciated. According to the EK rez agent out of SFO on 11/05 is wide open. I know it is way in advance, but two weeks out is a prety good indication on an international long haul flight.

Regards,

I would say your chances to go via SFO are better. They will be using a 777-300 on this route.

Yes SFO will sooon become a 777W/. However, per informartion which has been posted here the flight has a cap on the number of seats sold both westbound and eastbound due to the length of the flight.

According to the GDS: SFO (EK226); IAH (EK212) and LAX (EK216) are still "wide open" with availability in all booking classes.
