What To Do At TFS?

Tue Nov 03, 2009 1:54 pm

Hi All,

I have a really tricky one for you today!

I will be arriving in to TFS on Friday morning and then connection to another flight later on. Becuase I will be travelling standby, I am not allowed through to Departures until 1hr before my flight departs, so I have 2 1/2 - 3hrs that I must spend "landside". Does anyone have any suggestions for things to do? Is there anyone I can walk to and watch the movements from?

I really would prefer to avoid heading in to town given that it's quite a short connection.

What restaurants/cafes etc are there in the public area of the terminal?

Any suggestions would be most welcome, so thanks in advance.

Its at least 10 years since I was last at TFS, but IIFC at the right hand side of the terminal building(as you look from landside to airside)there used to be a view onto that part of the apron. Obviously it might have changed since I was last there though! Hope this helps?
