ZED Fares And Family

Mon Nov 30, 2009 12:24 am

Any help in this question would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know if my wife/kid can fly on a ZED fare without me being present? Does it depend on what airline they fly on, etc? And lastly, what is a good website for this type of info, if there is one. Sorry, don't usually go the ZED route so it is unfamiliar territory for me.

Thanks!

It certainly is possible, I do it all the time!

It does. Nowadays with KL it is all the same, but in the past it varied with a few ZED carriers.

Typically your own staff travel website. Otherwise call staff travel, as it depends on the agreement your airline has with the other.

That's possible for sure, but they might see some diffrence in fare. ZED-M or ZED-H come to my mind with some carriers. You would be able to get the latest info from your travel section at work.

If you work for NWA you are now a Delta employee and you should look at the Deltanet web site for info on ZED. The policies are pretty much carried over from the NWA ZED program. But basically, your family can travel without you on a ZED ticket
