DL 757-300 In-Flight Entertainment

Wed Feb 03, 2010 8:08 pm

Does anyone know what, if any, in-flight entertainment is available on Delta's 757-300? I believe these are the former NW planes, as Delta didn't previously have any -300's. From what I remember, I didn't believe the NW -300's had any IFE at all. When looking it up on Delta's website, there is no mention of video aboard the aircraft. When looking up Seatguru, it states there is video available, although not sure where. Can somebody please clear this up? I am flying from ATL to SLC tomorrow, and it would be great if there is some sort of IFE. Thanks!

This is what I got on seatguru.com

"There are video monitors located on the ceiling throughout the cabin. Movies are played on flights longer than 4 hours. In Economy, you'll need the special double prong headphone adapter to use your own headphones..."

First, I bet this is an error in delta.com. It's been showing 757-200 flights as -300 flights. No -300s are flying out of ATL or SLC . . . yet. I believe your flight is scheduled to be a 752. The error is causing lots of confusion, and it's disappointing that they haven't fixed it by now.

But if you do eventually ride on a 753, they have flip-down LCDs. And if I remember right, there's no need for a headphone jack adapter in that aircraft.
