F9 Employee Non Rev With Republic Air Holdings

Fri Apr 02, 2010 1:33 am

I just landed a job with F9 but at IND, so I need to commute for a while....

Does anyone knows if my Flight benefits with F9 will transfere across the Republic Air sister carries... (Mid-West, Chautauqua, Shuttle America)...

Thanks

Wepa

Quoting WepaMan (Thread starter):

It should.
At the orientation (which is usually at the very beginning of employment) every airline explains these benefits in detail.
RAH flight benefits should definitely be applicable to all members of RAH umbrella (F9, YX, RW, RP, S5, L3).

I'm surprised they didn't tell you before you interviewed.

if you were hired by F9 than you have complete access to the branded side, midwest, republic and frontier. Now there contract flying is a little different. I believe you need to follow the rules of the airline in which there flying for.

If you are if F9 then you can only fly with F9 or YX.

QC/QA interviews are more about the duties / resposabilities than the Benefits... I am just bit curious...

That is probably because he did not tell them.

If he is a brand new-hire on probation, I think the 30 day waiting period applies. I am pretty sure of that. He needs to contact whoever hired him and find out what his restrictions are within the 90 day period.

If I were you, I would use your wife's B6 passes until your 30 day waiting period passes.

Using your F9 passes, no. 30 day waiting period applies, since you are a new hire.

Using your wife's B6 passes work.

But why are you commuting to IND anyway? What position did you get? Why would you even want to commute to IND from MCO if you are doing an airport job??
