Personally, I perfer AA's and always have. Especially of current carriers. I do like Allegiant's as well.

But, soon , there will only be 'Ameriflot' with the option of one airline in the nation lol.

Hawaiian is also one that I like.

Move this to polls and preferences.

But my vote goes to Hawaiian.

I think AA's is severely underrated. I think that shiny metal and red and blue cheatline looks so much nicer than the typical white fuselages of most other airlines. Hawaiian Airlines is definitely #2, just awesome all around. Alaska has a "vintage" kind of feel to me, and me being from the Pacific Northwest, I definitely like AS as my #3.

Mine would have to be, and no not because of my user name, but because of the creativity. USScareways.

I thought that this is where I saw it, HA is one of the best. AA and DL have great ones as well, for different reasons. But my favourite has to be UA's. Oh its going now for that crappy CO's. Oh well.

For me, it's US Airways without a doubt. I guess AA would come in second place, and then DL in third.

I'd have to say Midwest Airlines, hands down. AA, DL, WN and HA all come pretty close, though.

US is at the top of my list. I love the special liveries the most

So...:

1) US
2) F9 (NW too, but I guess it's gone)
3) DL
4) UA
5) CO

At the bottom, no doubt:

New UA/CO

1) B6 (new and old)
2) AA - a classic
3) US (new)
4) VX
5) DL (new)

I hate the new UA/CO livery, it worked with "CONTINENTAL" but not "UNITED"
It's a cultural thing.

AA. I really like the chrome silver finish on their planes, and especially their OneWorld livery - that is absolutely fantastic.

Assuming that we're only discussing present and standard liveries; my nod would be for YX (Midwest) if it wasn't already gone.

My comments for other carriers.

F9: with the various animal tails, it's a little tough to pin down an all-out favorite. Kudos to them for using a color other than blue for the engine cowlings.

B6: like F9, it depends on the tail. I'm not a big fan of the one that features only a partially-painted tail.

FL: the blue engine cowlings don't quite look right (should've been teal) and I personally would've wished that the rear, tri-colored swoosh was moved in front of the vertical fin and the front swoosh didn't exist. From head-on, the plane looks like it's frowning.

WN: Although I LUV the carrier, I'm not too crazy about their current scheme. The orange divider stripes and SOUTHWEST lettering clash too much w/the Canyon Blue. They should've went w/white for the stripes and lettering. The blue also looks purple on many planes which makes the clashing effect even more hard on the eyes.

AS: Classic scheme for sure. My only suggestion would be either widen the fuselage stripes or give the lower body a different color for contrast. Either that or apply the dark reverse scheme across the board.

AA: Although a classic scheme for sure, the grey vertical fin looks a bit disjointed/out of place on some models (the MD-80). The bare metal fin looked a lot better. I realize that a bare metal fin may no longer be possible w/newer models.

CO: While classy, I would've made the thin gold stripe between the white top/grey bottom fuselage wider. When I first saw this scheme in the early 90s, I thought... "Did they copy Luthansa?"

DL: What I have referred to as Doug Parker's rip-off in that the layout looks too similar to US' scheme. I would've preferred to see the red widget on the vertical fin oriented in the same manner that the Classic Widget was during the 60s-mid 90s.

HA: Very classy. My only suggestion would be to expand the multi-colored flower motif up to just behind the wing.

NK: Not very original. The logo on the vertical fin looks like it was a rip-off from the Screen Gems. Either that or it resembles a hurricane symbol.

UA: Not a bad scheme at all. I liked the pixeled blue effect towards the lower part of the fuselage; but I would've opted for a red divider stripe between the blue and white (a touch of retro from the mid-70s scheme).

US: Not a bad scheme either. Fairly no nonsense w/some light-grey swooshcontrast towards the rear of the fuselage. Although the grey swooshes are a bit too dark on some of the Express regional aircraft.

Lastly, the recently-unveiled merged CO/UA logo looks a tacky.

Which Airline used to have their 757s in NBA team colours?

MAN, I loved those always parked at Phoenix Sky harbour.

But for me it is AA by FAR, I love it, its so original, and the only livery in the world, that is so original that it fits every century.

Also Hawaiian and the old WHITE UA   Man I miss that

For US airlines, it has to be American Airlines.
