Power Ports In USAirways A321 Economy?

Tue May 25, 2010 6:44 pm

I'm typically a NWA/Delta flyer and haven't flown with USAirways for quite some time. My wife and children are flying on a US A321 soon, and we are trying to determine whether laptop power ports are available and operational in Economy. Depending on which website we look at and/or which US operator answers the phone, we get different answers. So, do transcontintenal flights in Economy in the month of June, 2010, on a USAirways A321 have functional power ports?! If yes, are the ports Empower plugs or standard cigarette lighter-style? Thanks.

No, they do not. According to seatguru.com, none of the A321 have a power supply feature. From personal experience, I flew a PHL-MCO on a US A321 about a year ago, and I'm pretty sure they didn't have a power supply feature.
