Tue Jun 22, 2010 12:11 pm

Does anybody have a list of which airlines have their 737 in store not flying? And if you know whom do you know how many?

Thanks

Of cause there are the large numbers of 733s from UA and CO which are parked and of which a large chunk is going to the breakers. KLM has retired and/or sold some 733s and is in the process of retiring its 734s one by one. Aegean Airlines has a few 734s in storage. US Airways is also retiring single frames now an then.

Air Union/Kras Air and Kaliningradavias 733 fleets are stored (some of KD Avias planes are being scrapped).
Olympic has a fleet of 734s in storage, and also at least one 733..
Air Malawis 1991-built 733 is stored.
Add SAS (they have some 737s stored, 735s for sure, possibly also 734s), JetLite, Southwest, VASP (possibly all scrapped by now), Macedonian, Georgian, Aerosvit...
