Flying Out From MAN Tomorrow...

Sat Jul 03, 2010 8:43 pm

Anybody who has got anything to do with Manchester Airport in the UK will probably be of help to me in this post. I am flying from Manchester to Zakinthos tomorrow night, flight is around 11:30pm, and we booked the trip with Thomson. Does anybody know if we will be flying with Thomson, or will it be another charter airline? Also, would anybody be able to advise me on the type of aircraft, if this information is at all traceable.

Many thanks.

My guess would be Thomson Boeing 757-200...

If you booked with TOM, it most likely will be a TOM aircraft... that includes First Choice aircraft as they are TOM too...

Probably be a 757 or 767... A flight number is always helpful...

My friend has all of the tickets and not replying to any of my texts, so that is all the information I can give you! If I manage to get hold of it will pop it on here. Cheers!

Well I watched you take off, I can tell you that much. I only remember seeing 767s at that time though.

Seems like it was a B757-200, as according to Flightstats.

It's TOM1KY, G-BYAP, so a 752 indeed.

I must have been talking to the girlfriend on the phone at that time then. A few went off whilst I was, but they didn't sound like 757s - maybe I should have left the window open to get a better listen.
