Is FR Still Doing Any Very Cheap Deals?

Mon Jul 12, 2010 7:40 pm

Perhaps I haven't been checking as much as I used to, but I haven't noticed any REALLY cheap Ryanair offers in over a year (the ones which only cost a few £/€ per flight).

Has anyone taken an extremely cheap FR flight in a while?

Please don't turn this into a thread listing the pros/cons of Ryanair... just wondering if/when I might be able to snag a flight for less than the price of a beer!

I too have noticed the distinct lack of all in ~ £1 fares sans check in fee, they seem to be pursuing a different strategy of late. The switch from electron to pre paid visa and check in charge appear to be the turning point in their business plan.

That's it! I went and got myself a prepaid card for £25, hoping to use it for 2x return flights somewhere. However, I can no longer seem to find any tickets costing a few £s...

(And before anyone says it - YES, I am being cheap!  )

Often I would have taken advantage of a day trip to a UK Regional city from Dublin and I too notice that the €20 all in have dissapeared a while ago. Hope they will be back after the Summer rush.

They don't have the cheap summer sales now, it's £10 every week! However, now it's £6 one way to each destination so it's not that expensive.

I don't think we'll ever see 1p tickets anymore

LOL! Take bus 401 to the trainstation/downtown Eindhoven. Eindhoven city has not much to offer though...

From there direct trains bring you to e.g. Amsterdam in about 90 minutes (or to AMS Airport also).
