Nonreving To Japan

Mon Jul 26, 2010 7:00 pm

Qucik question to all anetters who have travelled it to Japan. I am planning on heading Tokyo in mid October- flying out on a Weds, from the Western half of the country (anything west of IAH). What is usually the easist way of making it to Tokyo (load wise). I am thinking LAX and SFO would be the toughest to get on. Additionally, is October a month with heavy loads to Japan? Thank you for any suggestions.

I assume with "the" country you refer to the US, right?

It might depend on the season but I was once lucky out of SEA but out of SFO and LAX you might have better chances.

It can however depend on different factors, best would be to have an exact date in mind and check the loads of each individual flights before departure.

I don't know if October is strong out of the US but out of Europe it is, similar to March/April season. Afaik Oct is also strong for Japanese traffic to the US.
