So having family in Atlanta, I fly Delta very often. And what I'm wondering this, for fellow frequent travelers/Delta employees:
It's kind of trite, but here goes: The Delta IFE has that trivia game where you play against other passengers (and anyone who's played it knows that some of those questions are mercilessly impossible).
But anyway, what's up with those touch screens?? Just entering your name correctly is a chore, and the when the touch screen end selecting the wrong answer (that you didn't touch), or when it doesn't respond quickly enough when you keep furiously tapping it (it's a timed game where response time is just as critical to winning as knowing the right answer) .
So the first question: Am I the only one that is frustrated by this?! Clearly Delta purchased the cheapest possible IFE touchscreen technology they could find. And the second question is: Does anyone know the approximate per-unit cost that Delta might have paid for the IFE screens? Because given the current status of technology, I'm sure higher quality touchscreen technology couldn't possibly be that much more expensive!
