i already looked through every bit of information I could find on the BA website but I didn't find what I was looking for.
Thing is, my parents are about to travel to the states next year and I want to buy the tickets for them with British Airways. I flew with them last year and was asked - upon check-in - to show my credit card I booked the flights with.
So let's pretend I book the flights for my parents with their names and address and all that but use MY cc to pay for the tickets, what's going to happen upon check-in when none of them has my cc with them?
Is it possible at all to do something like that? Is there some kind of option you can check like "The person who pays for the tickets is not the one who's actually travelling"? I don't want them to be stuck at the airport just because I paid the tickets and they don't have my cc.
So what about this?! Can someone shed light on this one?
It's been over a year that I booked a flight with BA so I just don't know which options were present in the booking process.
