Hello scrappy27,

Note that on 23 November 2010, SAA have a double daily between GRU-JNB. SA225 is scheduled to be operated by an A342, which does not have PTV’s or AVOD in economy class. SA225 leaves GRU at 02h30 and arrive in JNB at 15h25.

SA223 is scheduled to be operated by an A346. All seats on SAA's A343's and A346's have PTV's and AVOD available. The best Y-class on the A346 is seat 73D. SA223 leaves GRU at 18h30 and arrive in JNB at 07h25.

According to the GDS there are quite some seats available for your intended travel date on both flights, subject to change of course.

Best of luck!

Rgds

Hi SA7700

Thanks so much for the info!!! It's the 1830 flight I'm planning to get on...
Do you know if it's best that I list myself for the flight or can I just turn up??
Do you mind if I message you nearer the time to see what the loads are looking like again??

Many thanks again!

Hello again scrappy27,

To be perfectly honest, I'm not too familiar with non-rev travel. That being said, keep in mind that JNB-GRU-JNB is one of the most profitable routes in the SAA network. If listing yourself for SA223 is going to enhance your chances to get on this flight, rather do so sooner than later.

Feel free to ask more questions if you have any.
