Which Seat Do You Recommend In A380 Economy Class?

Sun Oct 31, 2010 11:07 am

My Friends,
I will fly with Emirates and go from Dubai to Bnagkok in this winter. As you know you can select your seat when you get your electronic ticket. Now I want to choose my seat. Which seat do you recommend for Emirates A380 economy class? I like window seat and also lower engine sound in my seat. I will be happy to hear from you soon.

You actually don't hear the engines on a A380. You only hear internal cabin noise and the hiss of the toilet vacuum.

I haven't travelled on the EK bird so can't help with seat choice. Upstairs would be better maybe as you get that cupboard space that runs along under the window. That's very useful on a long flight.
and with that..cabin crew, seats for landing please.

Certainly having just flown on SQ, upstairs on the pre flight seat booking system went first, a smaller cabin, and 8Y is nicer than 10Y.

I couldn't believe how noisy the toilets were, even with my ear plugs on, the vacuum sound was really obvious
it's the bus to stansted (now renamed National Express a6 to ruin my username)

Hi, Upper Deck not possible on the EK A380's (only for PREMIUM customers)- so you have to stay at the lower Deck.

You will find the best seats always in the aft section (smaller and separate cabin). Best seat would be 81A/K (more legroom)- but 82-87 A/K are also fine!
