If Your Airplane Says United And..

Tue Dec 07, 2010 12:26 pm

So does your ticket... The miles DO NOT count towards GLOBAL SERVICES this year and your ac has UNITED painted I really think if you book a FF business class ticket that starts with 016, and your 767 says UNITED where the CONTINENTAL used to be - youre looking to earn GS...double check if your ticket counts towards GS. The UA website says one needs 50,000 FF miles to qualify. So if you are close- call MP or the GS desk to find out IF your ticket qualifies!

It's not clear!

Also, usually GS packages have gone out right now or soon. I don't know if any FF flights in Dev 2010 will count??

It might just be me....but "if you are close" to what? If you need 50,000 miles to qualify for GS and you don't have them, then you don't qualify. What is difficult about that and I honestly have no idea what your post is supposedly about and it, most certainly......."is not clear".
BTW, what an aircraft has painted on it is of absolutely no relevance to anything.

This is where I am laughing...how does the painting on the aircraft have ANY relevance to this, VC10er?

"Clearly, sir, you get absolutely no mileage...can't you see the belly of the plane is blue and not grey?"
