Going Malaysia 330, 734 From PEK-KUL-SIN

Sat Dec 18, 2010 7:10 pm

Notice that Malaysia airbus 333-300 didnt have PTV on seatguru. Can go direct with Singapore 777 but
Malaysia was cheaper..however price isnt important than comfort and safety. Anyone flown with them?

If you are not an IFE nut like me, you could go with the MH route. However for me, IFE is a VERY important aspect of the flight so any flights without IFE will almost be out of my list. However if price is your main concern, I'd say bring a good book and enjoy the flight with MH, they offer good legroom from what I heard, although I've never been on MH before. Their 734s only have 30" of seat pitch though, that of LCCs but bearable for a KUL-SIN flight.

If you eventually chose SQ, you can try choosing the 77W flight for the latest products.

Another option would be TG. I'm a TG nut too! They fly A333s from PEK-BKK, most likely those without PTVs. However if you are lucky you might get one with the PTVs and of course they offer great legroom too! For the BKK-SIN leg they now offer a variety of aircrafts from the A333 to A346 to B744 to B777, have your choice!
One day I will fly around the world!
