Delta A333 Business Elite Seats

Wed Dec 22, 2010 8:09 pm

I'm booked on a A333 in row 1 and according to Seatguru - they have more legroom than any other row.
In the pictures - I can't really tell if that's true. Have any of you fine folks flown on the A333 in row 1?

Thanks!

Negative on the first row, but I can tell you that you will not be disappointed by the legroom. Is this a domestic or int'l run? Have fun and hope all goes smoothly.

Thanks!

It's a "domestic" ATL-HNL R/T.

Row 1 on the right side of the bird is excellent. My wife and I spent our honeymoon in those seats from DTW-FCO. It felt as if you got more legroom since there is no pod in front of you and therefore does not come back towards you when someone reclines. I was easily able to stand up and wiggle around some and then step over my wife without disturbing her or anyone else. We took a chance on row 1 and were very happy about the choice. Have a great trip.

Thanks JKJ777 - how was the flight status monitor on the wall's brightness when you were trying to sleep?

It was no problem at all. I dont like the fake full recline of those seats. Instead, I was partially reclined like my living room recliner and even with my eyes pointed towards the screen, it presented little distraction. On our flight home, however, there was on onboard smoke alarm that went off and it turned the tv's off for the remainder of the 7.5 hours of the flight. So, needless to say, the screen was not a problem on the return flight either.

I flew on one of NW's A333 MSP to AMS a few years ago sitting (or lying) in seat 01C.
Even though standing 6"3 I had enough space to get a restful night.
Only thing to complain about was a nasty stream of air which I blame for a long-lasting cold I evolved immediately after.

(That there is no storage area to speak of is standard at bulkhead rows ...)
