BA Cancellation Policy Up To 31DEC

Fri Dec 24, 2010 9:42 am

I need to book a ticket to LAX from ARN and return (31 dec-16/17 jan) with BA. On their website they say that one can cancel and claim a refund if one is flying to/from LHR up to and including 31DEC without any fees. I wonder if that will apply to my ticket even though I will book it today.

Why would you want to book a ticket today and then refund it?

I am 90% sure that the ticket will be used. So in case I would change my mind I wonder if BA will refund the whole ticket.

Well, I imagine BA are saying this because of the recent weather situation. They want people who don't need to travel to forgo their seats so stranded passengers can travel instead.

It's probably recommendable to buy a flexible ticket like everyone who needs flexibility and the ability to cancel.
