Airlines With Apps.

Mon Jan 24, 2011 2:43 pm

I was hoping to compile a list of airlines that have iphone apps. I have a list of a good few already but I am quite sure I am missing some so add to the list any I have forgotten. I think it's a fantastic idea for airlines to create apps.I'm sure we will see more and more coming along in time.

Air Asia
Southwest
Asiana
China Airlines
Turkish Airlines
airBaltic
Malaysia Airlines
Thai
German Wings
Nokair
GOL
Alaska Airlines
British Airways
Virgin Atlantic
Air France
Lufthansa
Continental (no United as far as I know?)
Delta
American Airlines
KLM
airberlin
oneworld (I know not an airline but still worth including)
Swiss
Air Canada
Thomas Cook
Korean Air
El Al
Etihad (only an etihad guest app)
Qantas (only a frequent flier app)

So any other airlines that have apps in any way shape or form??

Apologies to the mods if this has already been asked, I did a search but couldn't find anything.
Come with me, there's a place I want you to see, where the leaves are dark, I've got a hiding place in central park.

Add Asiana to that.

I'm still waiting for a UA app since I'm a UA MP member, so it's going to be somewhat useful. But their mobile site is good enough.

I have to say that DL's app is outstanding, it's well designed with nice colors, lots of extras (flight tracker, etc)

Another one is VS's app, wonderful flight tracker, very detailed and informative.

I actually download these airline apps mostly because of the airline's logos - it makes my iPod look airline-ish
It's a cultural thing.

Let's not ignore the largest smartphone market of all, Android

I have the BA app, but am not aware of any others that I have recently flown on. KLM have an app detailing their business class houses, and another for doing metric / imperial conversion, but that is all I'm aware of. Shame on the airlines for missing out on this market!

Until the proper App Store app comes out you can download United's gaming app and add the Web app to your home screen
