Hey, they changed my seats too! But the change back worked for me on continental.com, weird that it doesn´t work on united.com.
I've got a weird one for you.
Yesterday (Sunday) I flew ORD
-288. The day before (Saturday) I checked in on-line and printed my boarding pass with seat 15C printed on the pass. Sunday I was paged to the podium at ORD
, gate B-8 and was presented with a new boarding pass for seat 21-B. My extra-room exit-row aisle seat had been involuntarily changed for a **middle seat** in the back.
Since I'm a 1-K, I hollered and screamed until the gate agent called a supervisor. The supervisor could find no other seats on the plane -- except 9-E -- a middle seat between a sumo-wrestler look-alike and guy taller than Wilt Chamberlain (who both turned out to be good people). I rode to Orlando squished in the middle of these two.
I thought it was unusual getting my seat involuntarily changed **after** I checked in.
