I bought my ticket from SKP through BUD and LGW to MCO with BA like couple weeks ago through cheapoair.com for a flight on Feb 22nd, but due to some personal reasons, my mother had some post-surgery problems, I would like to postpone the flight for couple weeks and stay with my family until my mother get better.
I called BA explaining them my situation, but the operator on the phone said that they can't do any changes on the 1st leg of my ticket, but they are able to do changes on the 2nd leg (return leg), and they told me that I need to talk with cheapoair representative. I called cheapoair representative, with nice Indian accent, and constant breathing on the microphone it was really hard to understand, but the representative told me that they will need to charge me 250USD plus the difference in the price, in my case 54USD.
I want to know, is it really impossible for BA representative to change the date of my trip through their control panel or I will really need to try as much as possible to convince them to do that for me? Since I know that I've done that before and it worked, it's just luck, depending from the operator.
What do you guys think? Is it possible, and how I can approach them?
