Are Dogs Allowed In The Cabin?

Mon Jun 20, 2011 8:44 pm

A friend looking to take a small dog to NCE and we have heard that some airlines allow small dogs into the cabin. Does anybody know anything about this?

Sure! I think it is up to the airline though. Each airline will normally list pet policies on their individual websites. My airline calls the pet program "JetPaws". There are rules and whatnot that come with it.

Seeing that travel between the U.K. and Mainland Europe is involved, first check for national veterinarian requirements and regulations, especially for the return trip.

I know when we (bmi) operate flights for LH and LX we allow small dogs in carriers in the cabin. However this is not allowed on BD flights, and dogs are carried in the hold.
