Airbus 340-200, Where?

I am going to be in Mexico City for 3 weeks have a few days off and I would love to waste my money on getting the A340-200... So when I try to look on sites it just says A340... Anyone know if its the A342 or A343? Thank you!

The only route on the AR network where you are guaranteed an A340-200 instead of an A340-300 is EZE-AKL-SYD, as the -300s cannot make EZE-AKL without severe restrictions or a stop in Patagonia. For all other destinations, including MEX, it depends on which of the 7 A340s is available to operate it. 4 x -200s vs. 3 x -300s, so those are basically your odds.

In another thread here that I read recently, in this forum or on the Civil Av, it was mentioned that the plane that does the EZE-MEX-EZE run is the one that has arrived from SYD-AKL-EZE I´m sorry I can´t remember the thread but if that is true, then in al likelihood you will get an A342.
