AA ORD-DEL

Mon Aug 01, 2011 7:40 am

All: I am a frequent flyer on AA 292/3 ORD-DEL/ORD

Just wondering how the loads are, if anybody can share?

The plane always looks full, but I'd appreciate some details if somebody has them

Any possibility they do more runs on that route?

Thanks

Pat

Do not know about the loads, but I do not think they will add more to the route.
Keep in mind, AI operates DEL-ORD so that covers a lot of the traffic.

I would say probably not. It takes a lot of 777 time to fly ORD-DEL, and those 777s can probably be used better elsewhere, especially if they are losing as much money on the route as I have heard is rumored.

I agree with the other two posters about adding another ORD-DEL flight. The two 777s needed for another flight are better off flying elsewhere. As far as the loads go, its almost always full in coach, about 7/8s full in business and about half in first. I'm sure they usual go out full too, because I usually see many non-revs listed. Take it with a grain of salt though because this is in the past and I've only looked randomly. From here on in, tonight's flight left 100% full, Wednesday's is oversold, Thursday's is oversold, Friday's is oversold in coach by 17, and Saturday's only has a hanful of seats open (not in coach).

AA would not be operating the route for more than 5 years now if it was losing money.
