LH: Best Aircraft Model Catwalk For Aviation Fans?

Wed Aug 10, 2011 8:55 pm

For me it's a rethorical question, as I can't think of any other than can match LH, but anyway, the announcement of another new model for their "catwalk" (the 748), makes me wonder if anyone knows some other airlines similar in terms of aircraft variety flying their liveries.

Can you think of any airline that could fight LH in that particular competition to save aviation lovers from the dull landscape aviation is becoming?

And a subsequent question, more rethorical even (Ryanair, the most boring??

variety is the spice of life; that's what made the "old times" so good

Not on the scale of LH but BA has a fair few different types flying around in their livery and most of the US legacy carries have a wide range of different aircraft in their fleet and livery if you include their regional airlines.

Don't they have a few variants of the 737 in their fleet including the -300, -500 and of course the -700 with -800s on order. At least there's a little bit of variety in there unlike Ryanair with their fleet of 737-800s and -800's only.
