I'm flying SFO-FRA tomorrow (9/5) on UA926 and the online check in link leads to a page that is titled "flight status" and reads,
"Online check-in for your flight is not currently available. Please try again later or check in with a United Representative or at an EasyCheck-in® kiosk at the airport." Any UA insiders know why? Is the flight cancelled perhaps, or might this be an individual matter having to do with my ticket information?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

APIS possibly or UA may be changing either aircraft type or configuration of your aircraft which is more probable. The fact it said try later leads me to suspect the second.
