MUC-ARN On Air Baltic?

Wed Oct 05, 2011 1:37 pm

Around Christmas I will visit my parents. For the outbound flight I will take the SAS MadDog from CPH to MUC. For the way back SAS and LH are quite expensive and my usual KLM is charging an awful tot of money if you want to have a oneway ticket. So I was thinking about taking AirBaltic on a MUC-RIX-ARN route. Now I have two questions:

- do you think its safe now again to book AirBaltic? Or will they stop their services soon? I heard news they got more money now so my feeling is not as bad as some days ago...
- I found two flights for an interesting price. They just have a difference in the used equipment: One is planned to be 733 and 735, the other one 752 and a Q400. At least for that route getting a B757 sounds more intresting, right?

Thanks for your opinion

From what I've heard in the Trip Report forum, don't rely on the type listed until you see the plane at the gate
Also, other a.netters have booked them for flights in January, so they ought to be safe.

Or, book a RT with KLM and only use the outbound flight. It will be cheaper than a one way ticket.

I just found some nice special fares of SAS so I booked a roundtrip CPH-MUC-CPH on MD-81 and CRJ900

no AirBaltic this time ...
