The short answer is NO.

the only morning departures US to Europe are morning flights to LHR.

In fact, from what I could find, all east coast USA t Europe flights, with the exception of LHR are overnight flights.

If you are willing to forgo LGW for LHR, these are your options:

origin carrier dep arr
BOS LHR AA 0855 2055
BOS LHR BA 0815 1930
BOS LHR AA 0855 2055
EWR LHR VS 0800 2000
EWR LHR CO 0900 2120
IAD LHR UA 0937 2200
JFK LHR AA 0945 2145
JFK LHR BA 0830 2015
ORD LHR AA 0850 2240

Interesting, when did AF drop their JFK-CDG morning departure?

Those daylight flights are only really useful if you are based in or close to London. I'm not even sure 'really useful' is accurate either.

By the time you've walked from the aircraft to the main terminal, gone through Immigration and got your hold bag and got to the bus or tube station you are talking about 10pm.

I did Pan Am early morning out of JFK once. The flight was empty, which was great. I remember the jet-lag lasted a week.
and with that..cabin crew, seats for landing please.

I find the daylight flights far better for jetlag and actively seek them.
I use the AC868 YYZ-LHR daytime flight occassionally - I think it is great and jet lag free. It arrives ~2030, I'm home by 2130/2200 and go to bed at a normal time (you must stay awake on the plane and work/read etc. - otherwise you can't sleep properly). Wake up the following morning at the proper time with no jetlag. The flights arriving at lunchtime I find mess me up for days afterwards.

But they allow for perfect connections to the late night departures to Asia and Africa, which I have done many times
To me personally a one stop via Europe is far more convenient than a 2 stop via over the Pacific since I live in Boston and there's no non-stop service from BOS to Asia.

I enjoy it too but it does eat up a whole extra day which most people don't have or are unwilling to waste. Last time I went on vacation in Europe I took the morning flight out of BOS, spent the night at a LHR hotel, then woke up refreshed for my early morning onward connection.

Air Transat (TS) did have a A330 service from YYZ to LGW this summer. Not sure if it's A332 or A333, however I think at one stage a A313 did operate the service. Not sure on the flight number tho, I believe it is a Canadian Affair service.

If it continue's into the winter and if it going to operate next summer is a answer I can not give You I'm afraid.

Slightly off topic but up the road at LHR the VS0018 operated by the A343 in the low seasons and the A346 in the busier seasons is a day time EWR-LHR service, lands around 8pm I think, leaves EWR at 0800L and lands into LHR at 2000L.

For the last couple of summers FI have been supplementing their regular daily red-eyes with daytime flights to KEF from BOS and JFK, with onward connections to ARL and CPH etc. Do they count?
