ECP And ASA Air Return To ATL

Mon Jan 09, 2012 5:20 am

So I was looking at ATL flights on flightaware and noticed this flight:

Got almost to ECP and air returned to ATL. I noticed it also did this on January 6th. Anyone know why? Weather in ECP is clear and 5 mph wind so it can't be weather. Is there a curfew at this new airport?

Absolute and pure speculation, albeit somewhat educated: I would be willing to bet it was a mechanical issue that would have pumpkined the airplane in ECP.
Chicks dig winglets.
