How To Book A Higher Class Fare On Qatar Airways

Mon Feb 13, 2012 12:37 pm

Hi, i am trying to book a flight on QR from India to Europe and i see that all bookings are class H (the lowest miles yielding class). How can i book (where can i find) a class G ticket or anything higher than H, cause the difference in miles earning is tremendous... According to the searches i've done nearly ALL QR flights offer only H class booking... Thanks.

Call them. Easiest way to get a higher fare class.

It is quite common for the fares offered by online consolidators to be the most restrictive and offer the lowest benefits. That's why they are able to offer lower fares than you sometimes gain from the airlines direct.

The only way to find out is to call.

oneline engines give the travelers very little ability to access desired outcomes such as your request...try the old fashioned way and go to a travel agency or as mentioned above call QR, as obvisouly you are not necessarily "fare" shopping!

Well, there's a reason why a higher booking class gives more miles. The easiest way is, as others have said, to call QR reservations and ask them for the lowest price in a booking class giving your desired mileage accrual. If you think it's too expensive you can still decline it and book the lower fare...

The higher the fare class, the higher the cost and more miles you get.
