Connecting Delta Main Terminal To MAT LGA

Sat Mar 31, 2012 5:40 pm

Is there ground transportation between Delta main terminal to shuttle at MAT at LGA and how often does it run?

There's a landside bus that runs every 15 minutes or so - it's about a 10-15 minute ride (probably closer to 15 given that it stops at the CTB as well on the way to the MAT).

You do have to reclear TSA though - nothing airside.

How'd you pull that off? I've NEVER seen an itinerary that lets you connect mainline/Connection to Delta Shuttle... unless you made two separate reservations

But yes, there's a Delta-branded landside bus that hits A (MAT), C and D (this one doesn't stop at the CTB, only terminals served by DL). Like DeltAirlines said you'll have to reclear security, although at the MAT that probably won't take more than 5 or 10 minutes.

I've pulled it off in the past doing it as a multi-city connection to force it through the system, but without doing it manually like that, the system won't show it.

I don't believe so, though I've never had to deal with checked luggage when doing these connections.
