AA61 DFW - NRT April 16 - Why Did It Arrive Late?

Sun Apr 22, 2012 1:28 am

I like tracking a flight I take twice a year, which is AA61 from DFW - NRT. I noticed that on April 16, 2012, there were multiple entries generated for this flight. Also, it does not show a trip duration and each entry seems to pick up a different segment. Although this flight departed on time, it arrived at 3:15am in Tokyo, a good 6 hours later. I can't find any additional info for this flight. Anyone know what might have happened?

Flightaware can be unreliable, and in this case appears to be. Flightstats.com shows AA 61 departing gate D33 at 1:52 PM, arriving gate 74 at NRT at 4:48 PM on 17 April, 33 minutes behind schedule. Perfectly within "normal" delays (bags, catering, small m/x issues)
