SFO Vs MIA And Other Airports

Thu Jun 07, 2012 5:20 pm

I was thinking about this ... How much SFO and MIA are alike in so many different ways, the terminal layout, the major international presence and even how UA and AA use them. UA has been adding flights to SFO for some time, the same with AA and MIA they are both an "International Gateways" for their airlines respectively. Also international airlines have been adding service to both airports, and even the amount of passengers per year are close...What do you guys think? I know they serve completely different markets but from an outsiders perspective they are very similar

Also other airports that are similar :

MCO vs LAS
DCA vs LGA
JFK vs LAX
HOU vs OAK
PHX vs DEN
SAN vs TPA

SAN vs TPA? Since TPA is about 3 minutes away, I'm curious how you came up with that.
