Who Supplies The Most Engines? RR,GE,or PW

Sat Jul 21, 2012 1:11 am

I was curious to know which engine maker is considered the most successful in terms of units sold and profitability. I am only including the big 3 that I know of. If there are more out there that are just as big in the commercial airline business, please let me know.

Someone else can give you more solid numbers, but I believe it is GE (including CFM/EA), RR (including IAE), then PW (including IAE/EA). I don't know about overall profitability but PW definitely is in last place in terms of number of engines currently being sold and delivered.
