AA 752 First Class.....breakfast?

Sun Jul 22, 2012 5:45 pm

Hi everybody, I am so excited about my first first class flight next week on AA 1976 DFW-MIA. The first class cabin is served breakfast....what can I expect? Is it hot food, such as eggs and sausages, or more dry things such as granola bars and cereal? Also, the next flight is AA 2234 MIA-LGA, and a snack is served. What can I expect with that, a sandwich?

You probably will be offered 2 meal choices.. If I were you, I'd give AA a call and inquire. Have fun in first class! Hot towel..

Really? AA gives hot towels on domestic flights?

Hot towel is traditional in AA First Class.. Sometimes there are circumstances when hot towels are not provided. Keep your expectations low, I might add

PS- how was the phone call to AA?

Your 2 choices are probably gonna be an omlette, and the cold breakfast, consisting of cereal/fruit/yogurt. Also, AA (sometimes) uses a system called FEBO for premium cabin meal services. It means front even back odd. If the flight is an even number they (should) start serving meals in the front, and if the flight number is odd, start in the back of the F cabin, so choose your seats wisely so they don't run out of choices. I'm flying AA 135 tomorrow in F, and chose seat 3A, as it's not the last row, but closer to the back
I'm not so sure about the snack, but I would expect something Small.
Anyway, enjoy your trip!

It was OK, I didn't get all the info I wanted though. They told me exactly what I wanted to know for breakfast on DFW-MIA, (She said it is most likely a choice of a hot breakfast and a cold breakfast, an example of the hot breakfast being an omlette). but she had no clue what the snack would be on MIA-LGA. I asked her if it might be something like a sandwich, and she said it is most likely something smaller. She guessed that it might be like the food for purchase in the economy section, such as pretzels, crackers, etc.

It's unfortunate that even in First Class there's the possibility of not getting what you paid for!

I'm curious if there is a pecking order in food choices, such as actual paid full fare gets first choice and airline employees' passes get last choice. I'd be pissed if I paid $5,000 first/business one way to Europe and didn't get my choice of meal.
