DL 2050 For October 6th, Sold Out Already?

Sun Aug 12, 2012 11:52 am

So, I was looking at the schedules in the GDS for my upcoming trip and I noticed DL 2050 from Atl-JFK is shown as being sold out. there are four other flights that day and none of the others are showing sold out, they're all available for sale. I then went and looked at the seat map and while coach is almost completely full, which surprised me since it's still almost 2 months to departure, about half of first class is still open. This led me to wonder if the flight is really sold out, or is there a schedule/equipment change coming?

Any ideas?

For interest, the flight operates with one of DL's BizElite configured Ex-TWA 757s.
Yes, I'd like to see airbus go under so Boeing can have their customers!

The flight isn't sold out, it's being sold as a Y-fare, which means the lower fare buckets aren't avail. You can still however purchase it.

That said, DL132 (76ER) is selling an "I" fare into business at 270.

Some see lines, others see between the lines.
