DAL9856 DTW-NRT B744 Today

Sat Aug 18, 2012 5:40 pm

I was tracking flights earlier and noticed a Delta B744 flying from DTW to NRT which of course is not that unusual except for the flight number involved which was 9856. Could this be a MX reposition flight?

DTW-NRT cancelled yesterday.

It was just an extra section created for passenger protection.
