AA SFO-MIA Or VX SFO-FLL

Sat Sep 08, 2012 5:05 pm

I know, sounds like a painfully obvious title but hear me out.

My cousins are getting married on a cruise next year out of MIA and I've started to look around at different flight options. AA is by far the cheapest, coming in at $350/person roundtrip for the nonstop which actually seems like a steal to me. VX hasn't released their schedule yet, just wondering if they're truly worth waiting for? Never flown VX and the only inconvenience is getting from FLL to downtown MIA. Both fly out of the new Terminal 2 at SFO and both have reasonable schedules that work for us (assuming the current VX schedule remains the same). Does VX usually carry a premium price? B6 appears to be out of the picture, only offering a redeye. Thanks.

I suggest you wait. FLL fares can drop as low as $119 each way.

Depending on the sales at the time, sometimes AA matches at MIA.
