Probably my most unusual event was sitting next to and conversing with a nice businessman from Connecticut on an American flight BDL-DFW, about a week before he murdered and dismembered the stripper with whom he was having an affair. My colleague, who was also in our row, chatted the guy up and got his business card. Shortly after that, the guy's face was plastered all over television

Plane felt old and dated. I didn't catch the reg number but for about 3 hours of this flight beginning on takeoff, water would leak from the cracks of the pax air vents and overhead compartments. The FA's solution was to tape napkins where the water was leaking to resolve the problem.

) Flight CZ from URC to SZX: 15min before landing when pax and crew are normally supposed to "get ready" for landing, several people actually started to put their carry ons (including cartons) in the aisle so that they could supposedly get out of the airplane quicker. No words from the FA who let the situation uncontrolled, and quite scary if you think of an hypothetical emergency procedure..

Something was definitely up with that trip.

He's a regular guy with a regular job and a regular family but there was no way any terrorists had a chance when he had his sharpened toothbrushes on that flight.
