Strange Visitor At EDI

Thu Sep 27, 2012 3:38 pm

I pass EDI most days and noticed - along with a few extra biz jets - a Euro Atlantic 772, CS-TFM. Does anyone know what it was doing here? MoD charter perhaps? First thing that's caught my eye since the National DC-8 earlier this year.

Hasn't it been doing some sub-charters for Monarch recently? Perhaps someone else can confirm...?

Thanks for your response, Vasu. I'm still none the wiser but have found out it arrived into EDI on Wednsday and I saw it parked (by the usual cargo fleet) on Friday so it's sat there quite a while. Unfortunately I'm not sure if it's still there now.

Edit: seems it was an MoD charter from the comment at the bottom of the pic here

Nice to see an unfamiliar widebody (or any widebody bar our regular Star Air 767) at EDI.
