Inventory In Al Lbuckets

Wed Oct 03, 2012 5:11 pm

Which booking sites offer the booking numbers in all fare buckets? ie: F9 J7,Y9, B8, for all carriers on a route? I used to use ITA, but that site seems does not to work any more.

If you are willing to pay a small subscription fee expertflyer seems to be among the best websites for that. Also flightstats has a free option for "flight availability," but it seems to me this is not as complete.

And those numbers don't indicate the number of open seats, only up to a certain maximum number depending on the GDS. For example, in your example, 9 seats may be the limit, so if there are 50 or 100 seats open, you won't see that unless you have access to the carrier's internal system.

Yes I agree, however it is a useful when listing on a carrier other than your own. ie, if it shows 9 for every bucket then the flight is likely open.
