DL1856 Circling

Have a friend on this flight and its just circling. Possible gust winds?

The A/C was on the gate in MLB just 10 minutes late @ 1103am.....and if friend reports it was bumpy any "circling" was attributed to wind/weather issues associated with Hurricane Sandy. He's safe on the ground and off the plane at this point.
More like a typical day flying in Florida.
watch what you want. you may get it.

Looks like there was a small line of thunderstorms just to the west of the field so my guess is that they were waiting on that cell to pass through to the west
