BA268 Diverted To PHX, Why?

Wed Dec 19, 2012 10:34 am

I just saw that BA268 (LAX-LHR) diverted to PHX, and took off again after about an hour.

Does anyone know the reason?

Would it have to dump fuel before landing that soon after takeoff for a fairly lengthy flight?

If it was only on the ground for an hour, it was prob a med diversion

Yes, and that was the reason. Had a family member on the flight. Apparently a kid didnt feel good, so they diverted, let off the family and then they continued to LHR.
