Awesome, now I can stop sleeping in the broken recliners in the crew room.

Is it for one person only? I ask that on a serious note, no hanky panky... What if you wanted to go in with wife or family or while travelling with a baby. I'd buy an hour or two just to let the kids watch TV in private versus the lounge tv rooms.

That's a good question and one I'm going to try and find out even for myself, since on a cost basis it's not too bad.

Their website doesn't say anything pro/anti-family but alludes to the fact it's for business travelers (desk, wi-fi, etc.). You'd think that they could make a killing if they offered family-themed suites. Personally, I love the concept, and am surprised to see the comparative lack of day-suites at U.S. airports (particularly when compared to Asia). I especially enjoy the day rooms at NRT which include a shower and cost a fraction of rate these are advertised for.

OK, I keep it clean although my first reaction on reading the headline was, what elsi is new? Metered parking is not for curbside only.

It's really not new, many airport hotels around thwe world offer day rates for people making connections, or just arriving from point A in the morning and continue to point C on a late evening flight.

The Frankfurt Airport Sheraton achieves a greater than 100% occupancy rate that way and the 2 new Hiltons inside the Squaire building will be doing fine as well.

I am a big fan of the Yotel at AMS and have stayed there several times; this doesn't sound too much different.
