United Flight 33 To NRT - 788?

Sat Feb 02, 2013 2:48 pm

I was looking at flights from BOS to NRT and United came up as a possible itinerary - but the LAX-NRT-LAX leg on the UA website was reported to be flying the 788:

I checked FlightAware and UA32 and UA33 are reported to be flying the 788 as well:

Possibly a dumb question, but wouldn't one expect these websites to be updated with the current equipment?

787 is indeed the planned equipment.

The schedule you are looking at is March 2nd and March 9th.

As of now UA does anticipate using the 787.

As was said, this is the schedule for a March flight. This is February. United plans to operate the flight as a 787 as of now. The February schedule has been already changed and March will be if necessary, but that won't be done until more information becomes available on the 787 delays.
