Apologize if this was previously discussed on one of the 1,000+ 787 threads already, but since I didn't have time to read through ALL
Was checking on tickets for my annual summer trip to Colorado today and noticed that on Saturday, June 29, 2013, UA
, according to the UA
website, will be operated by a 787. Now I know that UA
had previously announced domestic routes that would be flown by the 787, mainly between hubs for crew familiarization, but that was before the problems that resulted in the 787 fleet being grounded. So my question is, could this be an overlooked error on UA
's website (i.e. the flight was "loaded in the system" before the fleet was grounded and they forgot to remove it) or does UA
actually think the 787's might be flying again by the end of June (which is all fairness is still 3 months away)?
If its the former, I will book the ticket for sure. If not, I might still book it then just be (mildly) disappointed when they sub a 762 or 753 for the flight because the Dreamliner is still grounded.
